Arizona Unarmed Guard Card License

We provide the training to obtain the Arizona Security License. This curriculum satisfies the requirements set forth by the Arizona Department of Public Safety. The class is taught by a Certified Arizona Department of Education Security Instructor and a current Security and Law Enforcement Instructor. The curriculum and presentation is an integration of twenty years of Arizona security management experience and an extensive formal education.

The eight hour class will cover the required topics of authority and responsibility of a security officer, criminal law, recognizing crimes, laws of arrest, search and seizure, uniforms, communication, use of force, general security procedures, crime scene procedures, first response, and ethics.

You will leave the class with the DPS required training certificate and application, photo, and fingerprints all for one low price. You will be able to take the packet and attach your payment and submit to Arizona Department of Public Safety for your guard card.

Arizona Armed Security License

This 16-hour armed security guard lesson plan is a firearms safety course, designed to teach the novice armed security guard the basics of gun safety, marksmanship, maintenance and familiarization, as well as legal issues related to the use of deadly physical force. It is also intended to provide training on issues likely to be encountered by armed security guards while on duty.

This class meets and exceeds the minimum requirements required by Arizona Department of Public Safety to certify armed guards to carry firearms after completing 16 hours of instruction which includes firearm qualification.

Arizona Armed Security Refresher

This class meets and exceeds the minimum requirements required by Arizona Department of Public Safety to re-certify armed guards to carry firearms after successfully completing an 8-hour course of instruction. This refresher course must be completed before January 5th of each year to maintain certification.

Armed Security Combo Certification

This full certification program includes the 16 hr Armed security class, PATH, OCAT, MEB certification classes. You will obtain the training to qualify for the Arizona Armed security license plus National Certification for handcuffing, pepper spray, and baton.

First Aid/CPR/AED

This lifesaving technique can save a life in your facility or home. We can provide you the certification in case of an emergency happens. This training teaches to the National standards and certification as prescribed by the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.

PATH® Handcuffing Certification Course

Practical And Tactical Handcuffing

This five (4) hour certification course is the most complete and innovative handcuffing course in the country. The techniques presented are practical and effective. Topics to be covered include the safest approach and positioning for handcuffing, handcuffing resistive subjects, removing handcuffs, and the use of various types of cuffs, among others.

Upon successful completion of the testing criteria, students will be certified in the proper application of handcuffs and will receive a pocket card documenting their certification.

Prerequisite – Current Arizona Unarmed or Armed Guard Card, or active military, or sworn law enforcement officer, or proof of current proprietary security employment.

OCAT® Pepper Spray Certification Course

Oleoresin Capsicum Aerosol Training

This (4) four hour OCAT® basic user certification course is designed to provide course participants with the information they will need to properly assess any situation involving a violent or resistant subject. This training educates participants on the proper and efficient application of OC aerosol products as a personal protection option.

Participants will be expected to demonstrate not only the academic knowledge associated with the application of OC aerosol sprays, but also the physical abilities to apply the various delivery systems in a manner that will be effective against an aggressor.

Upon successful completion of the testing criteria, students will be certified in the proper application of pepper spray and will receive a pocket card documenting their certification. Participants do not have to be exposed to the pepper spray to become certified, however it is recommended to understand the effects.

Prerequisite – Current Arizona Unarmed or Armed Guard Card, or active military, or sworn law enforcement officer, or proof of current proprietary security employment.

MEB Basic Certification Course

Monadnock Expandable Baton

The Basic Course consists of a four (4) hour certification course. Basic Course certification techniques include Stance, Patterns of Movement, Baton Grip, Baton Methods of Carry, Baton Draws, Baton Two-Handed Grip Blocks, Baton Counter Strikes, and Baton Retention. This is a well-rounded training approach that provides officer protection at three specific ranges for concluding an attack.

Upon successful completion of the testing criteria, students will be certified and will receive a pocket card documenting their certification.

Prerequisite – Current Arizona Unarmed or Armed Guard Card, or active military, or sworn law enforcement officer, or proof of current proprietary security employment.
